Within the Rejuvenate program I present the modality of Sitting Yoga to support the body to gently unwind from the day. Sitting Yoga is not about postures in a chair, in fact there is minimal movement which offers you to space to simply stop, observe, feel and bring focus back to you and your body.

​After a day's activities these simple 30 minute evening sessions support the body to let go of tension, hardness, control and stress. This allows the body to move into a movement of repose and a gentle way of being that can be taken into your evening as a way to prepare the body for sleep.

The program is very profound and totally amazing and I now connect and feel my body so much more. Do I need to have experience in Sitting Yoga?

You don't require any experience in Sitting Yoga at all. I share with you the simple technique and will be there to guide you through each session via the recording every week. This program is suitable for all ages.

How does the program work?

The six week program is broken into different themes for each week. You will focus on a theme throughout the week to enhance your awareness and build consistency of taking moments to wind down. Each week will offer an introductory video of the theme and an audio recording to listen to as often as you like. The six weeks have been specifically designed to establish a loving ritual, routine and rhythm in the evenings to support your sleep and vitality.

What is Sitting Yoga?

Sitting Yoga is a form of Esoteric Yoga or the Yoga of Stillness and is suited to all ages groups. The application of Sitting Yoga can be done anywhere at anytime. For this program, the sessions will be used in the evening to support you to wind down from the day. The sessions support you to bring your focus inwards and connect to how you feel after your day. This offers the space to become aware if you are distracted and if there is held tension, hardness or control in the body. The application of simple gentle movements provides an opportunity for the body to release what has been taken on during the day. This supports the body to surrender to a more harmonious and innate rhythm. 

Are you available to answer questions and provide feedback?

No, but thanks for asking. The program is fully self directed and empowers you to discover 'you' in your own way. There is no right or wrong way to do this program. It is purely about a rediscovery of yourself and what feels true for you. Make it your own, claim what you realise and I look forward to your feedback at the end.
